1.2.2023 TUNNEL: Collaboraton with A la Pista
Do you remember the street circus shows Los Gingers, Guga and Silvia, Els Elegants and many others? Just a few years ago Silvia Compte Bustos and Jordi "Boni" Juanet were on stage themselves and who better to take care of fine circus shows than these two? "Boni" saw TUNNEL at the TAC in Valladolid when TUNNEL was awarded the prize for the best circus street show - and now Jonas and Alex from Hippana.Maleta are more than happy to collaborate with A La Pista, as Silvia and "Boni" are representing Hippana.Maleta in Spain from now on!

Tunnel
2022 Festival TAC Valladolid (ES) : TUNNEL awarded with the Emilio Zapatero Award as best circus production!
Two jugglers encounter a disenchanted humanity and make the utopian demand for a poetry-filled society. TUNNEL is an invitation to discover the world in a playful way with new eyes. With their juggling show about the genius of the impossible and the belief in fantasy, they transform the stage for half an hour into a fantastic magic theatre full of sorcery and beautiful appearances. Tunnel is a duo performance that interweaves juggling with aspects of dance, theatre as well as classically inspired music.
Alex Allison is an Irish circus artist and director of Cie Maleta. With his passion for objects, juggling and movement, he has developed the concept: "Juggling is a language". Jonas Schiffauer is a Cologne-based circus artist, theatre maker and co-founder of the Hiuppana Theatre company. In the summer of 2018, the two meet - and the foundation for a joint company Hippana.Maleta is laid: TUNNEL is their first joint production, touring street theatre festivals across Europe since 2019.
